Stopped in at Bamboo Beach Bar in Madeira Beach before our flight home to Indiana, and we’re so glad we did! We sat at the bar with Helen, who was absolutely amazing—full of funny stories and great energy. She made our visit so much fun! The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was top-notch. We didn’t try the food this time, but based on the experience alone, we’d definitely come back. Highly recommend this spot for a great beach bar vibe!

This place never disappoints. Casual beachy type bar right in Johns pass village at the end of the pass on Gulf Blvd so don’t miss out. Rum runner will knock you out but in a good way, the food is typical bar food but we’re here for the drinks, live music, fabulous service and all around good time. I’ve been here quite a few times and will keep coming it’s just that good and super fun!

This is a must!! They are back up and running, bigger and better than ever! More outdoor seating and a second stage. If you’re here for a fun time, like live music and a real beach bar vibe, here you go. I have never eaten here, it’s not why I come here. I believe it is the oldest continuously operating bar in Pinellas County. They do a very small indoor area with a bar but mostly it’s outdoor or covered outdoor. Dog friendly! Again if you looking to have a great time, dance, have a beverage and listen to some good music this is a great choice.

So glad we walked further down John’s pass area last night and found this! The bartender right off the start was very welcoming and quick to serve (Tiffany), and told us about the upcoming music. Happy she did as we stayed a few more hours to enjoy Taria Lee & Marty very much! Our food was quick and good as well. Patio heaters were on and kept everyone toasty. Thanks Tiffany for amazing service all evening even when the bar was full and busy!
